The RFDS in TAS
Together we can improve the health outcomes of all Tasmanians
Our Services
Dental Care
Good oral health is important to overall health, unfortunately access to oral health services and dental treatments can be particularly difficult for Tasmanians living in rural and remote areas across Tasmania. RFDS Tasmania offer services via our team of dental professionals in a mobile setting to provide clinics to small rural communities throughout Tasmania.
Physical Health Care
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise can help if you are living with a long-term illness (chronic condition). Through our physical health program, we can provide support if you are living with: heart and cardiovascular disease (CVD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), muscular and/or skeletal conditions and dementia.
Mental Health Support
Our youth and adult Mental Health Program supports individuals who are living with or are vulnerable to mental health issues. Working in collaboration with their parents/guardians, our Youth Mental Health workers support Tasmania’s youth aged 8 - 17 years old experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
